Examples of volunteer opportunities include:
School Communication: Newsletter spotlights, morning announcements, bulletin boards/displays
Books & Stories: Diverse read-alouds, book lists/recommendations, Little Free Library additions
Hands-On Activities: Art/craft projects, word walls, music/dance features, language spotlights
The PTO can help with ideas, supplies, or financial support — just reach out!
Additionally, in alignment with Karen McDavitt, we will be having bi-monthly meetings to review our DEIB efforts, talk about upcoming events and incorporate feedback from the community into our programming. Please mark your calendars with invites for these dates:
