First Glover Bike Bus of the Year - Friday, September 26
Join us for the first 2025/2026 Glover Bike Bus Ride - Friday, September 26th, 2025! And then every last Friday of the month continuing throughout the school year.
“What’s a Bike Bus?” A Bike Bus is a big group of kids biking to school on a set route. There are scheduled stops and locations to meet up along the way, much like a school bus.
Glover parents Shelly Woolf, Richard Bourque, and Spencer Irvine have created three Bike Bus routes and will help lead the children along these routes. All routes will begin at 8:10 am from their respective starting place, make the indicated stops, and then converge together at 8:30 at the back gate to Glover for their final stop at school! Please arrive at your starting place or stop before the indicated time to be sure your bike is ready to go. Also, be sure to review the Bike Bus rules with your students (see below). Caregivers are welcome to join their students for the ride. We encourage caregivers to join students who are not 100% confident independently biking to school. The Bike Bus will only ride to school. Glover Bike Bus Rules
The following rules must be adhered to during all Bike Bus rides. If you have any questions about these rules, please ask a Bike Bus leader.
Wear a well-fitted helmet.
Make sure your bike is in good working condition and safe before the ride.
Ride behind the route leader at all times!
Obey all traffic laws; stopping at stop signs, staying to the right side, etc.
Point at obstacles ahead of you, for the group behind you.
Ride no more than 2 abreast. In traffic, single-file riding.
Ride as far right as is safe and practical.
