Make Way!

What a perfect week for a Duck Walk. In the words of Principal Karen McDavitt, “In true Glover fashion, we came together as a team and were assembled by 8:50am to help lead her and her babies to the pond.” As Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week closes tomorrow with Spirit Day, we have a few announcements about some other ducklings who are off to a bigger pond.

5th Grade Concert

The 5th Grade class has their concert day on Friday, May 15 at 9:15am. In addition to the 4th & 5th Grade Class concerts the 5th Grade Band & Strings will also perform.

The first time many of our 5th Graders met Music Teacher, Colleen Martin was through the screen of a Chromebook. Somehow she managed to engage them with the same energy and enthusiasm remotely as she does in person. Thank you, Ms. Martin, for inviting us in to see the brightest side of our students’ life at Glover.

5th Grade vs Staff Pongo Hockey Game

The Annual 5th Grade vs Staff Pongo Hockey Game is scheduled for Tuesday, June 2. It’s a right of passage for outgoing 5th Graders, and another great example of how the faculty and staff help make the students’ time at Glover so incredibly special. Our final Appreciation Week shout out goes to Coach Ben Jones. Thanks Coach, for always leaving it all out on the court. Between Pongo Hockey and Field Day, Spring really is your time to shine!
